Marten’s professional accomplishments were many and varied; a more distinguished gentleman cannot be imagined (Marten). Marten was also a passionate and enthusiastic member of the Green Mountain Hounds in both the older version in Stowe in the 1960’s and 1970’s, and then in the newer manifestation in the Champlain Valley.
We are flattered that his family – Ruth, Katie, and Piep – want to honor this part of his life through donations to Green Mountain Hounds. Marten dearly loved writing and delivering the Blessing of the Hounds at the annual Opening Meet.
